Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Geneva toward the French Alps. As you approach the Chamonix Valley, the towering peaks of the Mont Blanc massif gradually appear. Arrive in the charming alpine resort town of Chamonix, a historic mountaineering center that hosted the first Winter Olympics in 1924.
Aiguille du Midi Cable Car
Board the famous Aiguille du Midi cable car, one of the highest in Europe. In two stages, the cable car lifts you from Chamonix to 3,842 meters, offering breathtaking views of:
- Mont Blanc
- The Mont Blanc Glacier
- The French, Swiss, and Italian Alps
Visitors can step onto panoramic terraces and, for the adventurous, experience “Step into the Void”, a glass skywalk suspended over the mountains.
